Bento was born & raised in Maputo the capital of Mozambique, a Portuguese speaking country located on the Southern East Coast of Africa. Bento’s life there shaped his values for community, respect and family. Engel & Volkers Vancouver has presented Bento the opportunity to grow his passion for real estate in a city he has called home for close to 15 years.

Before moving to Canada from Africa, Bento joined a non-profit organization that worked with youth in community developments throughout Europe. During that time, he had a chance to broaden his vocabulary and skill set for many things including a passion for architecture. When Bento was offered a contract in Canada, he took the chance to discover where he ultimately decided to build a life and call home. In Vancouver he pursued an architectural drafting program and then furthered his interests in real estate by becoming a certified advisor. As Bento works to build relationships throughout communities in Vancouver his straight forward approach and hard working mentality always attracts clients who are like minded. When he's not working at EV, Bento is spending time with his family, friends, and volunteering in his community. You will also find him on the local basketball courts and travelling around the globe.
